Job Description and Duties

Under direction of the Senior Psychologist, Supervisor for Mental Health Quality Management, the Health Program Specialist I (HPS I) serves as a major health program administration support function in the overall management of Mental Health Services at CMF.  The HPS I may serve as a site-specific coordinator of complex and highly sensitive assignments and duties.  The HPS I acts as a highly skilled technical consultant in discrete areas of program administration, such as policy and procedure development, data applications relative to quality improvement processes, and proof of practice documentation.  In addition, the HPS I assists with the coordination of personnel and hiring processes; oversees, monitors, and tracks aspects of the Mental Health Services Budget; and performs other administrative tasks, duties, and assignments as directed.  In this capacity, the HPS I supervises support staff in the direction of providing regulatory programming compliance  with Coleman mandated treatment requirements.  The HPS I also prepares all weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as necessary.
