The SOQ must be no more than 2 pages in length, addressing each item noted below, with examples of what you have done to demonstrate your knowledge and abilities. Resumes are optional and do not take the place of the SOQ. Your application will not be considered if you do not provide an SOQ that addresses the questions below.
• Demonstrated knowledge of public contracting requirements including, but not limited to, Public Contract Code and Government Code.
• Ability to initiate, develop and maintain internal and external partnerships.
• Ability to lead or serve on cross-functional statewide internal and external teams to examine existing policy, seek new and more effective
methods of conducting business, providing interpretation and clarification of policies, standards, and practices.
• Demonstrated interpersonal, supervisory, leadership and management skills, including excellent willingness to proactively work in a rapidly changing environment.
