Statement of Qualifications
(SOQ). Your SOQ will be considered the
first interview for this position and applications without an SOQ will not be
considered. If your qualifications are competitive, you will be invited to an
interview.You must include specific
examples addressing each of the evaluation criteria listed below. Resumes,
letters, and other materials will not be considered as your response to the
SOQ. Your SOQ should be no more than three (3) pages in length. In your SOQ
please explain your qualifications, as they may relate to the Job Description
above.
1. Describe your experience independently leading or coordinating complex analytical or policy projects that required collaboration with multiple agencies, stakeholder groups, or internal teams. In your response, explain your role, how you ensured alignment and communication among partners, and how your work contributed to successful project outcomes.
2. This position supports research, analysis, and development of transportation equity, community engagement, and policy guidance. Describe your experience conducting analytical work in these or related areas. Include examples of how you supported or performed research, data analysis, policy or guideline development, or implementation activities, and how your work informed organizational decisions.
3. Analyst IVs often manage critical components of high-profile, public meeting production, timelines, deliverables, and cross-team workflows. Describe a time you were responsible for organizing or coordinating a recurring, external facing, and politically sensitive public meeting process (such as meeting materials, deadlines, workflows, or project logistics). Highlight your organizational strategies, communication methods, and tools you used to ensure readiness and timely delivery.
