OPDE has immediate openings for Associate Project Managers in our Sacramento Office with remote/hybrid work available. Under the direction of the Organizational Services Unit Manager, the AGPA’s duties support programs and services which benefit the personal and professional growth and well-being of CDPH employees, as well as promoting organizational excellence. Every day in OPDE is a new and exciting adventure. Along the way, you will:
- Collaborate with internal and external partners to provide and support a variety of employee engagement and professional and organizational development opportunities.
- Invest and interact with participants for the primary purpose of stimulating and facilitating growth, development, well-being, and performance for CDPH employees statewide.
- Support the development of marketing and communication methods for CDPH’s development and engagement programs.
- Coordinate strategies and objectives in alignment with office and department strategic goals, mission, and vision.
You’ve got what it takes if you have:
- Knowledge and experience in Project Management
- Knowledge and experience in Operational Procedure or Creative Writing
- Knowledge and experience in public service or a Public Health organization
- Knowledge and experience in research, data analytics and reporting
- Knowledge and experience in program or project planning
- Knowledge and experience with providing training, coaching, or presentations using online tools such as Microsoft Teams, Zoom, or WebEx
- Knowledge and experience in policy and procedure writing
- Understanding of the value and importance of supporting employees and teammates through recognition, equity, and diversity
